CDC Schedules Webinar, Provides Resources on Respiratory Infection Outbreaks

The CDC will host a webinar on Jan. 27th that will “provide the latest information on how to prevent and respond to respiratory infections and outbreaks in LTC facilities, including how to recognize a sick resident, considerations for testing, treatment, and vaccination, and infection prevention and control measures.” The agency also continues to update resources on respiratory infections that will be helpful for nursing homes and other providers in addressing flu, COVID, and RSV outbreaks this winter.
