LeadingAge NY offers summer advocacy materials to support conversations with legislators, residents, and families – including a new piece that explains the recent cut to nursing home capital funding.

In a letter to the Governor's Commission on the Future of Health Care , LeadingAge NY emphasized the need for an appropriate level of reimbursement to ensure access to high-quality care throughout the long-term care continuum and enable all older adults to age with dignity in their preferred setting.  

The general election is set for Nov. 5^th, and there are several seats in the State Legislature up for grabs. LeadingAge NY shares a list of key races to watch this year and opportunities to engage with candidates over the coming months.
