All LeadingAge NY members are strongly encouraged to call state legislative offices on the morning of Wed., March 4^th.

After thoughtful consideration, LeadingAge NY has decided to pause the Art Show for 2026. This pause will allow us the opportunity to reimagine the program and explore new ways to highlight the creativity and talents of the older adults and residents members serve.

The updates do not include any new policies, but rather reflect existing policies that previously were not included in the SOM.

The letter requests extensive information related to potential fraud, waste, and abuse, focusing on personal care, home health, "adult day care services," non-emergency medical transportation, and behavioral health services.

Please send digital letters to legislators, and share the links with your colleagues, board members, and volunteers. This is a critical moment to keep the funding needs of long-term care and aging services providers top of mind for decision-makers.
