Provider Letter - Urge Lawmakers to Support LTC Providers Still Fighting COVID-19

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE) in March of 2020, long-term care (LTC) providers, including nursing homes, assisted living, home care, and senior housing, have faced numerous operational and regulatory challenges around testing, patient protective equipment (PPE), staffing, and more.  These regulatory and logistical challenges have been accompanied by significant financial burdens, including added costs and cuts to Medicaid enacted at the height of the pandemic-when many of these providers were already financially stressed before COVID-19 appeared in NY. People who have been working tirelessly in these settings under enormous stress have not been lauded as heroes like their counterparts in the hospital setting, but they are heroes, and they need support to get to the other side of this pandemic.

Enter your information below to urge State lawmakers to appropriately prioritize and support long-term care providers still fighting COVID-19!
