Today, there are 6,700 fewer nursing home beds available in NY than there were in 2019. This is due to inadequate Medicaid rates & staffing challenges. @AndreaSCousins @CarlHeastie – NY must do better. Nursing homes need a 20% increase to meet the needs of older adults & staff.
