Updated Vaccine Grants for LeadingAge Members Available Now

LeadingAge National has expanded its partnership with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the We Can Do This campaign to provide up to $250,000 total in grant funding to LeadingAge members to support the rate of up-to-date vaccination status in aging services communities.

Applicants have until Fri., Feb. 24th to request up to $15,000 to support vaccine clinic activity in their community to be completed by June 1, 2023, when final reporting for the program is due. In addition to facilitating logistics, grant funding may also be used to print and distribute co-branded materials provided by HHS and We Can Do This.

Reports suggest that awards will be made by focusing on high-priority locations (as determined by HHS) as well as the percentage of an applicant’s residents and staff members already up to date on vaccinations. Awardees will be required to report data on their vaccination clinic activity, to provide primary and media contacts, and to attend a post-event meeting with LeadingAge National to share their stories.

Learn more and apply for the vaccine clinic grant funding by Fri., Feb. 24th.
