Comments on proposed federal nursing home staffing mandates are due Nov. 6^th.

Webinar will feature an advocacy update and spotlight the experiences of several providers with state-specific staffing requirements.

While certain provisions would be effective soon after the proposed rule is finalized, most nursing homes would have two to three years to come into compliance with federal staffing requirements.

Most nursing homes that received non-compliance notices will have to submit their requests for redetermination or penalty reductions on Thursday, Aug. 17.
