To jumpstart process, NYS Education Department has provided forms to facilitate authorization process for out-of-state RNs, LPNs, and physicians.

The Public Health and Health Planning Council's Codes Committee recommended adoption of the Health Equity Certificate of Need regulation and approval of a change in the PPE stockpile requirements for COVID-19-only nursing homes. It also discussed the removal of the COVID-19 vaccination mandate for health care personnel.
