Registration is also open for our second Advocacy Day on Tues., March 3^rd, focusing on issues related to housing, ACF/AL, aging services programs, and NORCs.

Long term care and senior services providers can help to ensure that the people they serve are counted in the 2020 Census so that New York secures a fair share of federal funding and representation in Washington. Nursing homes and assisted living facilities will be contacted by the Census Bureau in January and February about their roles in supporting the Census.

As a result of recent events involving the United States and Iran and the threat of retaliation (potentially cyber-based) by Iran, DOH is urging health care providers and local health departments to exercise increased vigilance for potential cyber events.
