There are just two weeks left until LeadingAge NY's 2024 Advocacy Day – Jan. 30, 2024! The deadline to register is Jan. 23^rd!

As the State legislative session and budget process gets underway, LeadingAge NY and its members have launched an advocacy campaign calling on the State to reform and invest in nursing home Medicaid reimbursement and provide funding that better matches the cost of providing care.

The notices were distributed via the HCDMS, along with an email alert, on Jan. 12^th. Facilities will have 10 days to request a redetermination or mitigation.

No. A modest amount of remaining funding is being distributed to nursing homes who previously received safe staffing funding.

The State is issuing payments after verifying eligibility based on additional financial information submitted by hospital-based homes.

Change may result in warning messages for previously filed assessments, but no refiling is required.
