Nursing Home Open Door Forum Scheduled for Aug. 8th
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will host the next Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Open Door Forum on Thurs., Aug. 8th from 2 to 3 p.m. The agenda includes updates on the SNF Prospective Payment System (PPS) Final Rule; Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) data submission; and CMS contractors that handle discharge appeals, quality complaints, and immediate advocacy for Medicare patients and families.
