Moving Forward Coalition to Host Free Webinar on Improving Nursing Home Environments to Impact Quality
The Moving Forward Coalition invites interested stakeholders to a free webinar, Building Codes: A Powerful Tool for Shaping Tomorrow’s Nursing Homes, on Thurs., Feb. 22nd at 2 p.m. ET. Two members of the Facility Guidelines Institute committee working on revising the Guidelines for Design and Construction of Residential Health, Care, and Supportive Facilities will speak about updates the Institute is making to the guidelines this year. They will describe how the guidelines affect nursing home quality and how they are adopted by states. The guidelines are updated every four years and have been adopted by 43 states.
