LeadingAge National to Present Training on October 2023 MDS Updates
Nursing home administrators, directors of nursing, Minimum Data Set (MDS) Coordinators, and interdisciplinary team members are encouraged to join LeadingAge National on Thurs., July 20th from 2 to 3:30 p.m. ET for a comprehensive look at how to plan for the October 2023 MDS updates. The training, “Overview of the New MDS 3.0 v 1.18.11: Preparing Your Team for Success,” will review the overall impact on the interdisciplinary team and organization outcomes, discuss strategies for transition and implementation of changes, and share a comprehensive toolkit to help LeadingAge members prepare for success. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has suggested that the MDS 3.0 updates coming in October are as significant as the implementation of the MDS in 2010.
