CMS to Provide Program Updates

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will hold an Open Door Call this Thursday, Nov. 29th, from 2 to 3 p.m. No advance registration is required. To participate, dial 1-800-837-1935 and enter Conference ID 3554-6657. CMS intends to provide updates on the following:

  • Patient-Driven Payment Methodology (PDPM)
  • Payroll-Based Journal (PBJ) submissions
  • Value-Based Payments (VBP)
  • Quality Reporting Program (QRP)
  • Civil Money Penalty Reinvestment Program

In addition, the Medicare Learning Network has scheduled a PDPM call on Tues., Dec. 11th from 1:30 to 3 p.m. to provide an overview of the new methodology and discuss the changeover from RUG-IV to PDPM. The call is free, but registration is required and can be accessed here. A question and answer session will follow the presentation, and attendees are invited to email questions in advance to PDPM@cms.hhs.gov with “December 11 Call” in the subject line.
