Be as Smart or Smarter than the Surveyor
The Integrated Surveyor Training Website (ISTW) provides training materials and videos for Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) surveyors. These are the same trainings that are available to New York State Department of Health (DOH) survey staff. Most recently, CMS has posted a series of videos outlining essential topics related to changes in the Long-Term Care (LTC) regulations scheduled to be implemented for Phase 2. The following topics are covered:

- Behavioral Health

The videos should provide some important points of emphasis for staff training and survey preparation.
