CMS Schedules SNF Open Door Forum for Aug. 4th
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has scheduled a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Open Door Forum for Thurs., Aug. 4th from 2 to 3 p.m. ET. The agenda is largely oriented toward items included in the SNF Prospective Payment System (PPS) Final Rule, including the Quality Reporting Program (QRP) and the Value-Based Purchasing Program as well as the Request for Information regarding staffing and other non-financial issues addressed by the Rule. Agenda items include QRP Reconsiderations and Public Reporting as well as the transition of the Minimum Data Set (MDS) to the Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES).
