RHCF Medicaid Cost Reports Due July 16th
LeadingAge NY reminds nursing home members that the RHCF Medicaid Cost Report and associated certifications are due on Mon., July 16th. The Department of Health (DOH) has not entertained extension requests in recent years. We urge members to ensure that those who will certify the report have all the necessary Health Commerce System (HCS) permissions in place. Failure to submit all required materials by the due date will have a significant detrimental impact on a facility's Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI) score and may impact Medicaid reimbursement.
Please note that we have received reports of the cost report software malfunctioning. DOH is aware of the concern and is working to resolve it. We will circulate any additional information as soon as it is available.
