RHCF Medicaid Cost Report Due July 25th
This is a final reminder that July 25th is the deadline for filing 2021 nursing home Medicaid cost reports, associated certifications, and any related company financial reports. If any member believes that they may be unable to meet the deadline, they should contact the Department of Health (DOH) at nfrates@health.ny.gov as soon as possible to discuss the possibility of avoiding a negative impact on quality pool funding calculation.
If at all possible, we urge members to ensure that reports are completed accurately and submitted on time. Capital reporting errors may require the refiling of the report to correct, staffing funding may be contingent on accurate reporting, Advanced Training Initiative (ATI) funding may rely on complete retention data, while late reports may reduce the amount or likelihood of quality pool funding and could result in penalties.
