DOH to Discuss Capital Rate Review Process
The Department of Health (DOH) has circulated the link for a nursing home capital rate webinar scheduled for Thurs., Nov. 3rd at 11 a.m. The webinar will provide an overview of the materials that the Department developed to aid nursing homes in reviewing their 2023 capital preview rates and submitting any correction requests that may be warranted. No registration is required; simply follow the link at the time of the event. Please note that DOH uses Webex, so those who have not used that platform before may want to sign on early to help ensure smooth access.
DOH indicates that it will be accepting questions through the Webex Q&A box during the event and will attempt to address them during the presentation, as well as in subsequently posted materials. To join the webinar on Nov. 3rd, follow this link.

It includes the Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) with instructions on accessing the rate sheets. Members may want to ensure that they have their preview rate sheets on hand during the presentation. Attestations requesting a correction accompanied by supporting documentation, as well as attestations indicating that the provider agrees with the State’s calculation, are due by Nov. 30th.
