DOH Posts NHQI Score Sheets for Review
The results of the 2018 Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI) have been posted to the Healthcare Finance Data Gateway section of the Health Commerce System (HCS) for feedback. Members should carefully review their facility-specific results and contact the Department of Health (DOH) at nhqp@health.ny.gov if there are any questions or issues. DOH notes that the review process is not an opportunity to update data but rather offers homes a chance to compare the results with their internal data and other sources, such as those reported on Nursing Home Compare and through the Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reporting (CASPER) system. The Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) with detailed instructions on accessing the score sheets is available here. Please note that the deadline for feedback is June 4th.
