DOH Posts 2022 Nursing Home Assessment Reconciliation Backup Data
The Department of Health (DOH) has posted the calculations behind the 2022 Cash Receipts Assessment (CRA) payment reconciliation in the “Cash Receipts Assessments” section of the DOH Medicaid reimbursement page here. The associated Dear Administrator Letter (DAL), available here, includes the form to be used to submit a correction request should a provider note an error in the State’s calculation. Correction requests must be submitted within 30 days of the DAL (i.e., April 14th) to NFRATES@health.ny.gov.
Providers should see the retroactive payment adjustment reconciling the prior CRA add-on amount to the new figure back to Jan. 1, 2022 in Medicaid payment cycle 2430 (April 3rd release) or 2431 (April 10th release).
