2018 Nursing Home Medicaid Rates Posted
Last week, the Department of Health (DOH) notified nursing homes that the Jan. 1, 2018 Medicaid rate sheets have been posted to the Health Commerce System (HCS). The accompanying Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) is available here. The rates have been forwarded to eMedNY for payment, and rate adjustments retroactive to Jan. 1st are expected in Medicaid payment cycle 2122, which is scheduled for release on May 9th.
The rates reflect a Case Mix Index (CMI) based on the July 2017 MDS picture date and include an updated minimum wage adjustment (shown on line 13 of the rate sheet). We anticipate the updated benchmark rate list to be posted on the DOH website shortly.
