Medicaid Billing Training Opportunities
Members providing Medicaid services should be aware that eMedNY offers several billing trainings throughout the year. The eMedNY trainings are in-person seminars or online webinars. There are several upcoming trainings, including eMedNY’s New Provider/New Biller seminar, occurring in several regions statewide beginning Tues., Sept. 18th. The New Provider/New Biller seminar includes an overview of eMedNY, explanation of 90-day rule regulation, and an overview of billing options. A training more specific to nursing home members titled EPACES for Nursing Home (Residential Health Care) Providers will be held on Sept. 19th in Canandaigua. The nursing home provider training intends to review claim completion and explanation for submitting voids, adjustments, and claims over 90 days. Providers may also find eMedNY Medicaid eligibility trainings valuable. The current schedule through the end of September is available.
