eMedNY to Remain

The Department of Health's (DOH) December 2017 Medicaid Update publication announced that the state has discontinued its agreement with Conduent Healthcare, LLC (formerly a division of Xerox) to design, develop, implement, and administer a new Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS). The contract was originally awarded in 2015 and envisioned a two-year transition to replace eMedNY. The article notes that the discontinuation will have no impact on providers or current eMedNY operations.
