DOH Renews E-Prescribing Waiver
The Department of Health (DOH) issued a letter on Oct. 29th extending the blanket waiver of electronic prescribing requirements for nursing homes. The new blanket waiver supersedes the previous waiver and is effective from Nov. 1, 2021 through Oct. 31, 2022. While LeadingAge NY is pleased that the State agreed to the request for a continued waiver, we continue to seek a permanent legislative solution to this issue.
