DOH Extends E-Prescribing Waiver for Nursing Homes and RHCFs

The Commissioner of Health has extended the waiver from electronic prescribing for practitioners issuing prescriptions for patients in nursing homes and residential health care facilities (RHCFs) until Oct. 31, 2018. The letter has been sent by email to all nursing homes and pharmacists through the Health Commerce System (HCS).
