Department of Health Seeks Comments on Elimination of PRI

The Department of Health (DOH) has released a Request for Information (RFI) seeking stakeholder comments on the implications of eliminating the Patient Review Instrument (PRI). The RFI stems from the work of the Department's Post-Acute Care Management Models Work Group, convened as part of its Regulatory Modernization Initiative. LeadingAge NY participated in the Work Group and advanced a recommendation to eliminate the PRI, in addition to many other regulatory reform proposals.

The RFI is available here and provides a link to a questionnaire available here. Comments in response to the RFI are due by April 30, 2018 and may be submitted here. LeadingAge NY members are encouraged to submit their comments to LeadingAge NY here, as well as to DOH, so that they can be included in the association's submission.
