VBP Bootcamps Coming to a Close

Registration for the Value Based Payment (VBP) Bootcamp in Long Island is open now through Nov. 8, 2017. The last of five regional, day-long events, the VBP Bootcamp in Long Island will take place on Nov. 15, 2017 at the Long Island Marriott (101 James Doolittle Boulevard, Uniondale, NY 11553) from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Click here to register.

VBP Bootcamps are a regional learning series created by the Department of Health (DOH) with the goal to equip VBP contractors and interested parties such as Managed Care Organizations, Providers, Associations, and Community Based Organizations with the knowledge necessary to implement payment reform. The day-long VBP Bootcamp is designed to be an interactive training session that will give participants a thorough understanding of VBP. The day schedule is available here, and the description of classes indicating the intended audience for each of the breakout sessions is here. When registering, participants are asked to pre-select the courses they wish to attend for the day.

The event is free and open to all interested parties. Space is limited, and space will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. DOH asks that all organizations limit participation to no more than four participants.

Those unable to attend in person can view a recording of the sessions held in Albany on Oct. 10, 2017 by clicking here. Please note that you need to register to view the archived webinars. Presentation slides and other materials are available on the DOH VBP page here.
