DOH Announces Integrated Care Meeting Schedule

With the Fully-Integrated Duals Advantage (FIDA) program scheduled to sunset in December 2019, the state is seeking to explore ways to expand and improve integrated care models for individuals dually eligible for Medicare and Medicaid. The Department of Health (DOH), along with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), convened an initial meeting with stakeholders in New York City on July 20th. The LeadingAge NY summary of the initial meeting is available here.

Through this planning process, DOH and CMS will gather input and hold discussion with stakeholders about various elements of program design that will influence the future of integrated care in New York State. From September through December, DOH will host a series of sessions, each structured to cover select topics. For each topic, there will be a brief presentation followed by discussion. DOH is seeking active participants who can commit to participating in all four sessions. The meeting dates, locations, and topics are listed below. All will feature an option for in-person as well as webinar participation.
