DOH Releases Compliance Tool for New MLTC Contract

The Department of Health (DOH) has issued a "compliance aid" to support implementation of the new managed long term care (MLTC) partial capitation Model Contract. The tool lists the new provisions of the contract between the State and the partially capitated MLTC plans and specifies the associated documentation that must be submitted by MLTC plans to DOH. The deadline for submitting the documentation, which includes new policies, changes in marketing materials, and member handbook and provider manual revisions, is May 1st. DOH is advising plans to review the entire contract (not just the tool) to ensure compliance.

The tool is available here, and the accompanying cover letter is available here. Slides from the webinar about the new contract are available here. Additional information about the new contract is available here under the "Model Contracts" button.
