What Happens to HUD if the Government Shuts Down?

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and several other agencies are currently being funded by a Continuing Resolution (CR) that runs through Dec. 21st. This means that if Congress and President Trump do not enact a final FY19 funding bill by that date, there will be a partial government shutdown. Further information about the impact a government shutdown would have on HUD may be found in "What a Shutdown Would Mean for HUD" by Linda Couch of LeadingAge National.
