Section 202 Funding and Upcoming Housing Development Trainings
For the first time since Fiscal Year (FY) 2011, new funding was allocated for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Section 202 Program in the FY18 budget. The Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the $105 million allocated in FY18 is expected to be released soon and will be posted on the Grants.gov website. More information on how to be notified when that NOFA is released and how to apply for this funding may be found here.
Additionally, in light of New York State's announcement of the availability of $50 million for its new Senior Housing Program, LeadingAge NY is planning a training/workshop on how to access these funds for the morning of Wed., Oct. 24th. This training will take place at the LeadingAge NY office in Latham, NY, and more information will be released shortly.
