HUD to Host Innovations in Energy Efficiency Webinar Series Next Week

The U.S. Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and Energy (DOE) have opened registration for their upcoming Innovations in Energy Efficiency Webinar Series. This eight-part virtual conference will take place from Mon., Nov. 29th until Thurs., Dec. 2nd and focus on energy efficiency in housing with an eye on decreasing the energy burden of HUD’s building stock. According to HUD, the content of the webinars will be basic, practical, and actionable with an emphasis on simplifying decisions related to rehabilitation of single- and multi-family housing.

Webinar topics range from the fundamentals of energy efficiency to more advanced offerings, such as exterior retrofits and the latest energy code requirements. The webinars are open to everyone, but HUD grantees and HUD staff with oversight responsibilities are particularly encouraged to attend. There is no cost to register.
