HUD Sponsors Preservation Clinic for 202/236 Owners

Owners and operators of HUD Section 202 and 236 developments are invited to attend an intensive and interactive one-day session on preserving aging properties, on Wed., Sept. 9, at the New York Multifamily Field Office in Manhattan.

The session will help guide owners of assisted properties to develop a long term plan for preserving affordability while addressing capital needs of aging buildings. Participants will discuss financing and rental assistance options that will ensure long term health of properties. HUD staff will also discuss recent policy changes and updates.

Space at the session is limited, so owners, developers and consultants in Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and West Virginia will be given preference. Advocates, lenders and other stakeholders are welcome if space is available.

The session is jointly sponsored by the HUD Office of Multifamily Housing in Washington DC, and the New York Multifamily Field Office. It will be held at the HUD New York Regional Office, Jacob J. Javits Federal Building, 26 Federal Plaza (Broadway between Duane and Worth Streets) Suite 3541, 6th Floor Conference Room A & B, New York, NY 10278.
