LeadingAge NY's annual education event for affordable senior housing professionals featured the latest from HUD, best practices for senior housing communities, and support for all levels of senior housing staff.
Members should review carefully for deadlines to ensure receipt of funds.
As HUD significantly increases physical inspections, the agency has notified owners who can expect an inspection this calendar year. HUD will not require inspectors to be vaccinated but will require them to follow CDC guidelines for quarantining and testing if unvaccinated. HUD will also require inspectors to wear face shields when inspecting senior housing properties.
