DOH Extends FI Authorization Application Deadline, Releases FAQs

As a result of advocacy from LeadingAge NY, the Department of Health (DOH) has granted a 15-calendar day extension to allow Consumer Directed Fiscal Intermediaries (FIs) to submit their Authorization application. The deadline for submissions is now Fri., Dec. 15, 2017.

In addition, DOH has released a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) document that responds to questions it received about the FI Authorization. All previously-released materials should be consulted in conjunction with the FAQs, and any questions regarding the information should be emailed to FIAuthorization@health.ny.gov.
