NYS has submitted the Medicaid SPAs needed to implement the nursing home Medicaid reimbursement increase and capital cut restoration included in the SFY 2026-27 budget. LeadingAge NY has been urging the State to move quickly to release these funds, and the submission of the SPAs is an important first step toward securing federal approval and moving payments to providers.
