DOH requests that providers review the State calculations and attest to their accuracy or request corrections by Dec. 3^rd.

While the guidance does not introduce new requirements or obligations for DFS-regulated entities, it clarifies existing regulatory expectations and suggests best practices for DFS-regulated entities to consider.

The guidelines include recommendations addressing 42 topics and can serve as a resource for nursing homes in the development, implementation, and improvement of their infection prevention and control programs.
