IGNITE Leadership Academy Information

The Leadership Academy is a professional development program designed to facilitate the development and growth of senior living leaders in the state. We began the program four years ago, when members who had participated in the national Leadership Academy urged us to develop a program at the state level. The academy focuses on internal and external relationship building, the sharing of best practices, and a passion for continuous learning.

IGNITE is open to LeadingAge NY members in any member category, irrespective of clinical or managerial experience. It is far more important for the applicant to demonstrate deep leadership potential within their organizations than it is for them to carry specific job titles.

The 2017-18 IGNITE Leadership Academy will begin in September. Individuals selected for this class will be receiving more information over the summer about the year ahead. LeadingAge NY will make the application for the 2018-19 class available in the spring of 2018. To learn more about the program, click here for the program brochure.
