State Announces Launch of Electronic MPA Public Survey

The NYS Department of Health (DOH) and Office for the Aging (SOFA) have formally announced the official launch of the electronic iteration of the Master Plan for Aging (MPA) Public Survey, which is now accessible at www.ny.gov/mpa. Survey input will play a pivotal role in gathering essential insights from individuals across NYS regarding their priorities for the MPA.

The survey has been made accessible in a total of 17 languages through a dropdown menu situated in the top right corner of the MPA webpage. A paper-based alternative is expected to be made available soon and will be posted online in a printable PDF format.

The deadline for completing the MPA Public Survey is Dec. 31st. The survey is expected to take only 10 minutes, and the results will help guide the progress of the MPA, including subcommittee and workgroup recommendations due in early 2024.

Members are encouraged to complete the survey and disseminate it widely among staff, residents, and their communities. Those interested in receiving the paper version of the survey when it becomes available should email MPA@health.ny.gov, specifying their preferred language.
