Deadline Extended: Master Plan for Aging Public Survey Now Due Jan. 31st

LeadingAge NY staff and members and many other individuals continue to engage in efforts to help develop a Master Plan for Aging (MPA) that re-envisions aging in NY and considers and creates opportunities for individuals to easily navigate and access affordable long term care services and supports.

Health care provider staff and individuals served by LeadingAge NY members are urged to complete the State's MPA survey to provide a clear picture of the needs and preferences of consumers, as well as their current ability to access services and supports.

The answers received from the survey will help to inform recommended strategies, policies, and new or improved programs for inclusion in the MPA. The survey provides the opportunity for you to tell the State how the MPA can best serve you and your family.

Please complete the survey as soon as possible, but no later than the new deadline of Jan. 31, 2024. You may complete this survey on behalf of someone else with their participation. Answers submitted are anonymous.

For more information on the MPA, click herePlease email MPA@health.ny.gov with any questions about the survey.

Please feel free to contact LeadingAge NY staff to provide input and recommendations for inclusion in the MPA.
