MPA Public Survey Deadline Extended to Feb. 29th

LeadingAge NY staff and members and many other individuals continue to engage in efforts to help develop a Master Plan for Aging (MPA) that re-envisions aging in NY and considers and creates opportunities for individuals to easily navigate and access affordable long term care services and supports.

Health care provider staff and individuals served by LeadingAge NY members are urged to complete the State's MPA survey to provide a clear picture of the needs and preferences of consumers, as well as their current ability to access services and supports.

The answers received from the survey will help to inform recommended strategies, policies, and new or improved programs for inclusion in the MPA. The survey provides the opportunity for you to tell the State how the MPA can best serve you and your family.

Please complete the survey as soon as possible, but no later than the new deadline of Feb. 29, 2024. Take the survey online, or find PDF versions of the survey in multiple languages here. Alternatively, those requiring bulk mailing of paper copies should reach out to MPA@health.ny.gov and specify their preferred language.

For more information on the MPA, click here.

Please feel free to contact LeadingAge NY staff to provide input and recommendations for inclusion in the MPA.
