Department of Health Announces Value-Based Payment Bootcamps
The Department of Health (DOH) has announced that it will be convening regional "bootcamps" to help providers and managed care plans get ready for value-based payment. Each bootcamp will consist of three full-day sessions.
Bootcamps will be convened in each of five regions. The regions and the date of the first session in each region are as follows (these dates are subject to change):
- Region 1: Capital, Southern Tier, Mid-Hudson - June 2nd
- Region 2: North Country, Tug Hill-Seaway, Mohawk Valley - June 29th
- Region 3: New York City (excluding Queens) - July 20th
- Region 4: Central, Finger Lakes, Western - Aug. 31st
- Region 5: Queens-Long Island - Sept. 27th
A complete schedule of the bootcamps and additional information about each session is available here. For those who are unable to attend the bootcamps, all Region 1 sessions will be webcast live. The department will distribute a link to the webcast when it becomes available.
Registration for each session will open three weeks prior to the session and will close one week prior to the session. Seating will be limited. Registration for the first session in Region 1 is available here.
