1115 Medicaid Waiver Public Forum Materials Posted
The Department of Health (DOH) has posted the slides and comments presented at its Sept. 28, 2022 public forum on the 1115 Medicaid Redesign Team (MRT) Waiver. This annual forum provides an opportunity for stakeholders to comment on the impacts of the 1115 waiver and upcoming amendments. LeadingAge NY was one of seven organizations that offered comments. We highlighted the failure of the MRT Waiver and Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) program to focus on the needs of dual eligibles and long term care and called on the State to avoid making the same mistake in its proposed 1115 waiver amendment.

LeadingAge NY will be submitting written comments to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on the proposed amendment. Comments are due on Oct. 19th and can be submitted here.
