DataPoint: ADHC Occupancy

Statewide median Adult Day Health Care (ADHC) occupancy was 67.7 percent in February 2019, down nearly 5 percent since 2018, based on the most recently reported data analyzed by LeadingAge NY. The highest median occupancy was in the Rochester region, which was the only region with an occupancy above 80 percent. In contrast, the lowest occupancy, 63.3 percent, was found in the New York City region. In the past year, occupancy fell in six of seven New York State regions. The largest change in occupancy occurred in the Central New York region, where the rate decreased 11.8 percent, representing the largest decline statewide. In the Hudson Valley region, the only region with a one-year occupancy rise, median occupancy was 70 percent.
