DataPoint: 2017 Nursing Home Salary Report

The typical Nursing Director at a Central New York nursing home makes $91,500 based on data from the 2017 LeadingAge New York Nursing Home Salary Report released this week. Hourly wages for the typical staff RN in the Rochester Region was $28.29, a 3.8% increase from 2015. Nursing home members who participated in the survey received the detailed report that provides regionally targeted data for 17 management and 20 non-management positions common to most homes. Only robust participation can ensure valid and representative data, and we thank the many members who took the time to complete the survey to help make the report a valuable resource.
