Nursing Homes Conducting Point-of-Care Testing Must Report COVID-19 Results Through NHSN HHS has revised prior guidance to require nursing home limited service labs that are conducting point-of-care COVID-19 tests to report results via NHSN. Reporting to New York's ECLRS is also required.

More stringent New York State weekly staff testing regulations continue to apply. Members should take note of testing requirements applicable to an outbreak, defined as a single confirmed case among staff or confirmed nursing home-onset case among residents.
