DOH Provides Information on Staffing Portal
Late last week, the Department of Health (DOH) sent out a Dear Administrator Letter (DAL) reminding adult care facility (ACF) and nursing home providers of an online staffing portal that can be accessed if they are experiencing staff shortages. The Department subsequently sent an email with this attachment. DOH added a new Health Commerce System (HCS) role, HR Coordinator, to reportedly allow for more convenient access to the COVID-19 Medical Prof Request application related to the staffing portal. The document provides instructions on how to access an HCS account if needed. Your HCS Coordinator should put them in this role on the HCS.
