DOH Seeking Financial Impact Insights from Nursing Homes and ACFs

LeadingAge NY would like to thank those nursing home and adult care facility (ACF) members who have already responded and strongly urge all others to complete an important financial survey that will provide information to help the Department of Health (DOH) support providers during and after the COVID-19 crisis. DOH is seeking to identify the types and scope of financial impacts that providers are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic, both increased costs and lost revenue, and is partnering with hospital, nursing home, and assisted living associations to collect this information. DOH understands that the impacts are still building in many areas but needs as much information as possible now to be able to respond and plan. More comprehensive data will be gathered in the future, but right now, the State needs currently available information as soon as possible.

We understand that your time is limited and that members are facing numerous challenges, but we ask that you complete the brief survey this week, if at all possible. The nursing home survey is aimed at CFOs, while the ACF survey targets Administrators.

Nursing Homes: We ask that you complete the nursing home online survey available here by Fri., April 10th.

ACFs: We ask that you complete the ACF online survey available here by Wed., April 8th.

If you are unable to complete the survey, we ask that you at least enter a comment on the magnitude of the financial impact you are facing and that you are not able to complete the survey at this time.
