HERDS Reporting for Home Care and Hospice Moves to Once a Week
The Health Emergency Response Data System (HERDS) survey for Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSAs), Certified Home Health Agencies (CHHAs), and hospices will now be required on a weekly basis. Reporting will be on Tuesdays only, opening at 8 a.m. with a closing deadline of 2 p.m. The changes take effect this week, on Oct. 26th. As a reminder, Assisted Living Program (ALP) LHCSAs serving only their residents do not have to complete this LHCSA survey.
