I’m Confused About the Updated Isolation and Quarantine Guidance and What It Means for ACFs

Adult care facility (ACF) members have been understandably confused with recent guidance issued regarding isolation and quarantine. The Jan. 4, 2022 Department of Health (DOH) Interim Advisory on Return-to-Work Protocols for Healthcare Workers remains in effect. The chart on the fourth page of the document is extremely helpful in answering questions regarding return to work under various circumstances.

DOH is pointing to this guidance, issued on May 3, 2021, regarding protocols for the isolation and quarantine of ACF residents.
